EB Information Technology Ltd.(referred to as EB for short) is a joint venture founded by Professor Liao Jianxin of BUPT and Pu Tian Eastcom Communications Group. EB was established in February, 2000 with a 30million RMB registered- capital.

At EB, we supply a comprehensive range of solutions in fields of value-added services, business & operations support and application services for telecom operators and are devoted to the purpose of helping operators increase their ARPU(average revenue per user). EB is devoted to research, development, integration and engineering on telecom software and is constantly creating innovative new ways to maintain a high standard of excellence.

"To bring upon technical innovation while exploring the market, and to bring upon product development with technical innovation, yet bring upon marketing exploration with product development" illustrate EB's three strategies of "market, development and product". In the very beginning, we took up the market with CMIN02 Mobile Intelligent Network System, and jumped at the opportunity to become the leader of the new-added portion of market in this area over the coming years. As we developed, EB became one of the chief carriers of the telecom market in China, with our products spreading more than ten provinces including Hong Kong and providing services to over 50 million subscribers. In the year of 2002, EB marched for overseas market successfully, symbolizing the beginning of the internationalization. In 2003, EB gained more than 1 billion RMB in sales revenue. In addition, we took the lead in service fields of Coloring RingBack Tone, Micro Payment Service, and many more products and as such our business is highly regarded in the telecommunications field.

As an important partner of telecom operators, EB perfects and enrichs the product lines continuously, which have evolved from the single product CMIN02 to a comprehensive IN platform series including CMIN02(GSM IN platform), CWIN01(CDMA IN platform), CFIN01(Fixed Line IN platform products) and CIIN01(Integrated IN platform). EB's IN products have be commercially used in 12 provinces and metropolitan areas in mainland China, as well as in Hong Kong and Nigeria, with over 50 million active subscribers. Our product system has extended from IN platform to various fields including network management, billing, customer care, a unified message platform, mobile e-business, soft switch, and so on. At EB we pay special attention to our ability to master our customer's requirements, our creativity, our management ability and our capability for sharing knowledge and executing the company's cultural guiding direction. EB realizes rapid and healthy development by intensifying personnel management and emphasizing creativity amongst it's employees.

EB boast technical personnel who pioneered the research and development of IN in China, bringing in original experts from BUPT engaging in IN product development and engineering. Until 31st March, 2003, EB employed 251 staff members, of which more than 90% received above bachelor's degree, and over 70% work on technology and development.

According to customer's requirements, EB offers standard technical supporting services, advanced technical supporting services and new service development services. Standard technical services include software/hardware maintenance, remote support and on-site support. Urgent trouble shooting, system optimization support, performance tracing, network and service development suggestions are part of our advanced technical support services. New service development support services are illustrated as adjusting added-valued services and developing new services to meet marketing requirements.

IN system shall fit in with the development of the network technology and services to accommodate technology development and market change, in order to provide excellent services for customers. EB's managers and technology staff pay a telephone visit to customers every month, and pay a regular visit to customers every three months thus ensuring the quality of our service. Meanwhile, the periodic visits allow us timely insight to customers' technical requirements and service requirements, strengthening the communication for both sides, and to create visiting documents to aid the development of our service to consumers.

The high quality and standardization of EB's products and services are ensured by ISO9001 quality management system and CMMI system. In order to ensure the steady running of these systems, EB provides a complete training scheme for customers, arranges veteran lecturers, and supplies satisfactory conditions to bring up system maintenance staff who work to a high quality. After the training, the qualified employee is awarded the system operation certificate, ensuring the professional ability of operators.

In recent years, EB and its staff have obtained a number of awards. President Dr. Liao Jianxin is awarded top prize on Science & Technology, awarded by Chinese Institute of Communications and Fifth Youth Science & Technology Prize in Hangzhou. EB was regarded as National Key Software Enterprise in 2002 and 2003, elected as one of ten "New Technical Enterprises in Communication Industry in 2003". CMIN02 was elected as "first-rank software recommended by China Software Industry Association in 2003". EB's Mobile IN technology was awarded top prize on Science & Technology, awarded by the Chinese Institute of Communications. Location-based Service Solution and Micro Payment Solution is elected as one of "100 successful solutions in Chinese communication industry in 2003".
